I'm going to take a step away from my usual content and rants and speak about something that really matters, because It's Veterans Day here in the U.S. Regardless about how you may feel about what the politicians are doing, The troops in the field deserve our full support. A poem I ran across by Joanna Fuchs recently describes it better than I could ever put in words . . . . It's called They Did Their Share.

They Did Their Share

On Veteran’s Day we honor
Soldiers who protect our nation.
For their service as our warriors,
They deserve our admiration.

Some of them were drafted;
Some were volunteers;
For some it was just yesterday;
For some it’s been many years;

In the jungle or the desert,
On land or on the sea,
They did whatever was assigned
To produce a victory.

Some came back; some didn’t.
They defended us everywhere.
Some saw combat; some rode a desk;
All of them did their share.

No matter what the duty,
For low pay and little glory,
These soldiers gave up normal lives,
For duties mundane and gory.

Finally . . . . I got my R1 copy of Tsuma to Mama to Boin (aka Cantaloupe Collector)

I finally received my R1 copy of Tsuma to Mama to Boin today, going to give a watch a little later. Almost a two month delay on the title due to what ever the reason was. I found out this week that Sentakuya Shin-chan (aka Dirty Laundry) will be delayed another 4 weeks from a press release from Kitty Media along with delays of some other titles that were most license rescues of other titles.

BTW, There is a unconfirmed rumor at this time that Aneimo: Square Sisters has been licensed. I would like the think that is true, but as I said, it's UNCONFIRMED. The Aneimo eroge had one of the best ever songs in a eroge, ~ Melty Snow ~ by Kawada Mami. You can catch the promo for it here . . . . Link

As far as mainstream anime this season, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza has been the best so far at serving up some good Milfage. Nogizaka Akiho, Haruka's mother served up some nice Milf fan-service in a 2 month early Christmas episode.

I was happy today to see the first posting in Tsuyatsuya's blog today in quite sometime, just over a month. Hopefully there will be some new Milf manga coming our way soon from the artist. If you would read his blog, it can be found here . . . 艶々日記 Sorry, It's Japanese only.

Looks like Kitty is still behind on Cantaloupe Collector and few other titles. It a month and half late being released at this time. I really want to support US R1 releases and hopefully soon BluRay, So it would be nice if my pre-orders from from favorite retailer would ship.

Speaking of Anime on BluRay and how it applies here, Witchblade came out today from Funi on the format. I have my copy sitting on my player, I 'llhave to check out how it turned out in the next few days. I hope it was worth the price (I got it for $45.ooUS due to pre-ordering) since I had already bought the DVD singles when they were released last year.

Another favorite translator . . . Tadanohito

While I'm still waiting for my R1 copy of Tsuma to Mama to Boin, I might as well talk about another of my favorite translators. Tadanohito has been around a while fighting the good fight. He translates everything from some excellent Jukujo eor-mangas such as Tonari no Minano Sensei to be a collabortor on such series as Blue Eyes and Boing Boing Teacher. Most series that he does tends to have fuller figured characters for the most part, just the way I tend to like them. If you haven't checked out his site, you can find it here. Link

The 2nd Annual Anime Milf and Jukujo tournament has begun!!!!!

It's time for the 2nd Annual Anime Jukujo & Milf Tournament at My Anime List (MAL). It's hosted by the Anime MILF and Mature Woman club there. By the way, last's years winner in the ero catagory was Amamiya Misako from Milky/Japananime's Enbo (Taboo Charming Mother), pictured at the right.

Here's the details: From 10/27 to 11/8 nominate your 5 favorite Milf & Jukujo (Mature Women, but not mothers) characters from both regular Anime and from Ero-Anime. There will be 4 separate categories. Nominations should be sent to me by PM, Posting theme in this thread, or email to me at animemilftourny@loplop.us (This is a special mailbox just for this purpose.) Please, Only 5 nominations per member per category please.

We will then take the top 5 from each category and then have a vote here in the club that will last for 1 week starting on 11/10. The winner will be announced on 11/18.

Anyone who is a member of Anime MILFs & Mature Women Fan Club at MAL may nominate and vote in this tournament. If you have any questions PM me here at MAL or at the above e-mail address.

A couple of rants and some other stuff

Just have a couple of rants this evening . . . .

First off, While it's happened before, Kitty Media is behind on shipping out Cantaloupe Collector (Tsuma to Mama to Boin) and Dirty Laundry (Sentakuya Shin-chan) again. They are two Milfy titles that I have been looking for a while on R1. It seems that Milky most likely have deleyed getting the masters to Kitty again like they have done with several titles in the past. I hope we see them before the turn of the new year.

Secondly, the soccer moms are at it again trying to get FYE to quit carrying ero/hentai titles again in it's stores from what I've been hearing on a couple irc channels. They're getting to be as bad as Agnes Chan is in Japan trying to get ero-manga and eroges banned from publication.

The second annual Milf and Jukujo Tournament is getting ready to kick off in a week or so. We'll be voting on our favorites in Mainstream and Ero-Anime Milfs and Mature women. A really crappy couple of weeks

I haven't been around much the last couple of weeks. It's been a rather crappy time for me.

I came down with a sinus infection a couple of weeks ago that turned into the seasonal flu. At least it wasn't the H1N1 version. That kept me down about 10 days.

At about the time that I was ready to return to work, I got a phone call that a family member passed away all of the sudden and had to go to Virginia for a few days for a funeral and help My Mother take care of some business related that occurring.

Today was my first day at work for two weeks. At least my employer has paid sick time and bereavement pay . . . More to come soon as I get back in gear.
